As we know, Premier-designate Doug Ford has outlined what he plans to do in his Plan For The People and, while there also have been a number of promises made during the campaign.    Many of us are well informed on what Doug Ford has planned to do with our education. He  plans to get rid of ' discovery math ', ban cell phones in class, make math mandatory in teachers’ college, "fix" EQAO and put a different standardized testing program in place and bring back Ontario's old sex ed curriculum until a new one is put in place.                         CULTURE APPROPRIATION Many people around the world celebrate Halloween  Costume parties are held and many children go trick-or-treating around this time of the year.   On October 17, 2017, Teen Vogue posted a video titled, "My culture is NOT A costume." The video clip shows a group of young women of colour  talking about their cultures being used as their costumes. "YOUNG PEOPLE SHOULDN'T VOTE!" There has been an on-going debate about whether younger people should or not. The video clip showcases a group of elderly citizens talking about young people. They are giving reasons why young people should not vote and their opinions about them. As I was watching the video, my eyes widened and were shook because of the message the older generation is trying to give. Personally, I am offended. Kaepernick ignited a growing trend among US pro athletes to “take a knee” during the national anthem at the start of games. The campaign helped support him but also brought hate towards Nike.
